THE LATEST ADDITION
We meet every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm, for an hour, with additional sessions already in the pipeline! These sessions will be a mix of skill and tuition, combined with accumulating reps with weight. Whether you have never lifted a barbell in your life, or are a seasoned lifter, this club will have something to offer you! Each lifter will be allowed to progress at their own pace, and will be taught drills and assigned loads accordingly.
In the interests of flexibility and choice, we offer a number of options to pay for classes. Attendance at Barbell Club will count as one use of any GTF Membership, or a Fitness 10 Class Pack. If you don’t want the commitment, we also offer the option to pay for classes individually. Regular lifter, or drop in once in a while for pointers, we’ve got you covered!
As an affiliated British Weightlifting Club, we can coach lifters towards, and during, official competitions. Whether you’re a novice looking to take up the sport for fun, or a little more competitive, we can help you along your journey, and take every step with you! Don’t want to compete? No worries, you can train and reap the benefits of the programme, without ever stepping out on a platform. The choice is yours!
